Salted Vanilla Matcha Latte

A smooth and creamy matcha latte with a hint of vanilla and a touch of salt—perfectly balanced between sweet and savory.

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp matcha powder
  • 60 ml hot water (not boiling)
  • 200 ml milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1–2 tsp vanilla syrup (or vanilla extract + sweetener)
  • A pinch of sea salt
  • Ice (optional, for iced version)

Instructions 

  1. Prepare the matcha
  2. Add matcha powder to a bowl and pour in hot water.
  3. Whisk well until smooth and slightly frothy.
  4. Warm or froth the milk
  5. Heat the milk gently or froth it for a creamier texture.
  6. Add flavor
  7. Stir in vanilla syrup and a small pinch of sea salt into the milk.
  8. Combine
  9. Pour the prepared matcha into a cup, then add the milk mixture on top.
  10. Serve
  11. Enjoy warm, or add ice for a refreshing iced version.

Serving Tip

For a more layered look, pour the milk slowly over the matcha.
